Ok so being out here in the middle of nowhere in East Texas, I have to admit forestry is the big thing out here. Lol. There for our game versus Sam Houston is therefore called the Battle of the Piney Woods. Basically, it’s a football game between SFA and Sam Houston. Usually it’s our backyards (football stadiums on campus) but for whatever reason, we decided to have it in my hometown of HOUSTON!!! Wooo! At the Reliant Stadium. Which is something we take pride in around Houston (but that’s not the point.)

Anyways, so although home games are FREE for SFA students, and the Piney Woods game was OUR home game, we had to pay for the tickets ONLY because it was at the Reliant Stadium and it wouldn’t be fair. So, I paid $15 to go to the game and I bought another ticket for $15 for my friend (who didn’t go, but I still love) and I must say that it was a well-spent $30!!!

WOOO! We kicked patooty! Sam Houston put up a good fight I must say but they just couldn’t past those 31 points! We had the game in the bag! WOOOO! Nice try Bearkats but Lumberjacks owned Reliant Stadium on saturday! Good job boys! We’re now 6 - 1!!! We’re undefeated…minus one game… but STILL WE’RE BAD ASS!

*sigh* That’s enough boasting. Well anyways, this week is homecoming and we are playing Texas State… That shouldn’t be too hard considering how well our boys play! Besides, this game is on our home turf. It’s not just the football players that win the game, it’s also the students who sit in the Purple Haze section and talk shit to all the opposing teams’ football players. So… *pats herself on the shoulder*
