November 2010
Well it was a fight in the beginning. The NSU Demons scored the first point on the field at SFA’s Homer Bryce Stadium but the SFA Lumberjacks weren’t going to go down w/out a fight. The Jacks scored as well w/ a field goal. It wasn’t 7 points like the Demons, but they decided to do a field goal to get points on the board. Then finally the Jacks started picking up the scores.
I was sitting in the “Purple Haze” section while all this was going on. I left after half time to go change pants because the weather went from chilly and foggy to HOT AS CRAP! Then muggy and it gave off the impression that it was going to rain (which it didn’t, thank goodness). I come back to the game during the last 5 mins of the 3rd quarter. I looked at the score board and it said 22 to 7. Jacks was B E A S T I N G in that EmEffer! So finally it’s the fourth quarter and the score was:
Jacks: 36
Demons: 7
It was the last second of the game and it was Demons ball. They ran the play, and they scored. The score was then 36 and 13. However, there was no need for the Demons to celebrate because WE STILL WON! WOOO! This game was not only important because it was the last one of the season and our quarterback was graduating this year as well as some other senior football players, but it was the game that we were fighting to keep Chief Caddo (Google it, I’m not about to tell you who Chief Caddo is…) So this game was I M P O R T A N T… So Chief Caddo stays with us for another year. We are BACK TO BACK SOUTHERN LAND CONFERENCE CHAMPS!
However, there were some unfortunate events during the game:
1. One of our players got hurt on the field. We put up our “axe hands/handles” and remained silent to “pray” for that player. #55 of the NSU Demons had the audacity to talk and “bitch” while we were quiet. Purple Haze “leader” yelled out “55 shut the fuck up!” 55: “you shut the fuck up!”… Started a small roar from those standing in the Purple Haze section but we quieted down to show respect until our player got up. BTW we always got quiet when their weak ass players got hit and didn’t get up ok! We showed our respect, you show yours!
2. #65 and #49 of the NSU Demons wanted to pick fights with our boys. *shakes head* Na-uh. That ain’t happenin’ boys! Don’t mess w/ a Lumberjack and their axe!
3. #13 of the NSU Demons had an emotional breakdown during the game. Some in the Purple Haze section were referring to him earlier as Justin Bieber. While he was crying, those in the Purple Haze section (including yours truly) were heckling him while he was crying. After a while, the Purple Haze “leader” suggested that we leave him because obviously something happened. So we left him alone and heckled the rest. On Sunday, I was informed that #13’s parents had died. I don’t know if it was BOTH or just one parent but either way, something terrible happened to him and we should have not harassed him. I personally apologized to him via Facebook last night.
I love being a part of the BEST section of heckling football fans but obviously there are times when we should be respectful to others feelings (well when it comes to something so tragic that causes one to cry during the game performance.) All in all it was a good day and a good game. What a way to end the season and start off the playoffs. GO LUMBERJACKS!

Ok. College. I think I have mastered it so far. There was really no crying over too much homework or being homesick, unless you want to count crying because Her Majesty was depressed. But other than that, college wasn’t so bad. I have run into issues w/ money, friends, food, and probably other things but *shrugs* I’m still standing, so it’s no biggie.
Well, Gobble Gobble Day is in a few days. I’m still here in Nac-Land waiting to be picked up tomorrow. Well to be honest, I have a freaking class at 12:30 tomorrow and it ends at a quarter to 2. Which I have A LOT OF TIME TO KILL before class and go home. Her Majesty plans to show up early and wait (while I have class) and then I hop in The Lion right after class and go home. (:
*sigh* I can’t wait to go home. It would be REALLY REALLY nice to be back with the fam. I heard about a lot things that happened while I was gone. I want to see what’s the dealy-o and junk. Nothing bad of course. But I do miss my munchkins. I need an innocent laugh right about now.
Wasn’t this blog supposed to be a re-cap of the crap I’ve done while away at college? Hmm. Maybe I should get to that… or finish. IDK.
First month: Moved in. Went to a club. A GHETTO club. Surprised my mom by coming home unexpected.
Second: classes. homework. cool teachers. tests. classes.
Third: classes. homework. tests. classes. SAM HOUSTON GAME!!! (We won btw!)
Fourth (now): classes. homework. tests. LAST GAME OF THE SEASON! WE WON! CHIEF CADDO STAYS AT SFA! FOOTBALL TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS! Gobble Gobble Day in 3 days. Going home tomorrow.
And that’s about it. I’ll blog about the Chief Caddo later… TRUST ME! This is an INTERESTING story! >:D G’bye my lovely reader(s).
